- Find out why leading teachers such as Ana Forrest have switched to the Planet Sadhana Vinyasa Mat.

Feel good about yourself and the planet using it: the first step to prevent pollution and resources exhaustion, etc. is to use the most durable goods. This is a MAT FOR LIFE!
It is made of NON TOXIC PVC, contains NO latex, NO Phthalates, NO Heavy metals, NO Harmful substances so you can practice safely without fear of allergic reactions or toxins entering he body.
It is Oekotex certified which also ensure an emission free manufacturing process.
Images for reference only, actual colours may vary. Please note all long lasting PVC mats need to be worn in before reaching maximum grip. The best way to do so is to practice on your mat. However, you can give a good energetic rub to your mat with a clean damp towel (you can also add a little bit of sea salt), then rinse it and dry it with another clean towel. Then allow plenty of time to dry in a well ventilated room, preferably in the direct sunlight. That should do the trick!
Due to it's mighty density and dimensions, this is a heavy mat. Mat Width 72cm Mat Thickness 6-7mm Mat Length 220cm Oeko Tex 100 Certified? Yes Country of Origin Germany Washing Instructions Hand Wash Only -

Ideal for Ashtanga or power yoga Review by Kelly Martin
Quality Ideal for Ashtangis. This mat is stable -- it doesn't stretch or move beneath you while you are moving through vinyasa. Even without a Mysore rug, you would really have to drop a large amount of sweat for this mat to become too slippery to use.
Would you recommend this product to a friend? Definitely yes
The longer mat would definitely be useful for taller yogis, however, the longer mat also means that you stay on the mat when jumping back and jumping through in Ashtanga practice regardless of your height. (Posted on 26/04/2010)

Im 6'4" finally a mat my whole body can lay on Review by peter wallis
Quality This is the perfect mat for me. Im 6'4" finally a mat my whole body can lay on. I no longer have to touch the carpet during Bikram's Hot Yoga! I also luv that the mat does not absorb sweat, leaving the towel to do its job. By the next day I am off to yoga with a dry fresh mat! (Posted on 26/04/2010)

I love the texture of this mat Review by Jane Daley
Quality I've been doing yoga for 7 years. I've gone through a couple of regular sticky mats by now (I don't like how they get stretchy after a couple of years), so I decided to buy something more durable. I love the texture of this mat -- ic -- and it doesn't move around at all. It has just the right amount of cushion to it, and I use it on a hard floor. Perfect! (Posted on 26/04/2010)

- Om shanti,
My favorite yoga teacher is Ana Forrest. I saw she had a pretty similar mat at the Yoga Journal Conference. It looked very wide and extremly long. Is it the Vinyasa Mat?
Namaste. - Hi Martin,
Ana Forrest has been one of the first to endorse our mat. She loves the dimensions, thickness and durability of the mat. This is actually one of the biggest mats of the market and it's density allows you to perform the trickiest poses without losing balance... We are very proud to supply sucah a great teacher! - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
