FAQs

  • Find out why leading teachers such as Matthew Sweeney and Ana Forrest are switching to Planet Sadhana mats.
This is the 'work horse' of our range. You can use this day after day, practice after practice. Extra dense, extra thick the Classic Mat will provide the best cushy comfort you can dream of!

Feel good about yourself and the planet using it: the first step to prevent pollution and resources exhaustion, etc. is to use the most durable goods. This is a MAT FOR LIFE! It is made of NON TOXIC PVC, contains NO latex, NO Phthalates, NO Heavy metals, NO Harmful substances. It is Oekotex certified which also ensure an emission free manufacturing process. It is made in Germany, so you know your mat haven't travelled twice around the world before reaching you!

A solid base for your practice in the full range of colours and finishes.

Very tasty indeed. Be the envy of your class.

Images for reference only, actual colours may vary. Please note all long lasting PVC mats need to be worn in before reaching maximum grip. The best way to do so is to practice on your mat. However, you can give a good energetic rub to your mat with a clean damp towel (you can also add a little bit of sea salt), then rinse it and dry it with another clean towel. Then allow plenty of time to dry in a well ventilated room, preferably in the direct sunlight. That should do the trick!
Due to it's mighty density, this is a heavy mat.

      Quality

Had loads of mats in the past and they were always too small, slippy or don't last long!

This is the first mat i have had that my feet don't hang off the end! Great length Great quality and great colours. Thanks now I can have a good stretch!

      • Namaste,

I heard Matthew Sweeney is using this mat. Is it true?
      • Hi Helen,

Well, Matthew hasn't officialy endorsed the mat... But he definitely has one! I cannot garantee this is the one he uses at the moment but he is one of our customers.

      • Is this mat the same as the Manduka mat?
      • Hi Jenny,

Good question! Yes, they are produced in the same factory, using the same ingredients, using the same manufacturing process. Manduka is simply a brand name. Actualy, the whole range comes from the same factory, using the same ingredients, using the same manufacturing process...
